Dr. Elizabeth grew up in Delaware. After college, she attended Albany Medical College and then moved to Raleigh, NC to complete a residency in orthopedic surgery at Duke. While she enjoyed working in all of the subspecialties of orthopedics during residency, she loved taking care of pediatric patients so ultimately, was drawn to pediatric orthopedics. After residency, she completed a fellowship at Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, a pediatric orthopedic specialty hospital, in Dallas, Texas. Faculty has been training future pediatric orthopedic surgeons for almost 40 years at Texas Scottish Rite, and during this year, Elizabeth had the privilege of learning from some of the foremost pediatric orthopedic surgeons in the country.
After fellowship, Elizabeth joined the staff at the University of Kentucky and the Shriner’s Hospital for Children Lexington in Lexington, Kentucky. There, she practices general pediatric orthopedics with a focus on limb deformity and reconstruction.
